My adult son who was diagnosed bipolar schizophrenia several years ago, since the loss of my mother March 3, 2023, has refused to continue on his medications and his injections and is slowly deteriorating. He lives in her home with her Akita and has stopped caring for the Akita and is now walking for hours and hours and hours at all times of the day. He is not listening to me when I’m asking him, begging him to please take his medicine. I’m so very terrified that he is so close to being admitted to a psych hospital again.
