You are probably most familiar with this aspect of The River.

Our DJ’s and music team work hard to make sure everything on the air is safe for families with little ears, encouraging in moments of doubt, and ultimately shares the Gospel and points people to the one who loves them unconditionally.  Tune in to hear stories that remind you that you are never alone, or share laughter in the everyday moments — joy and laughter are healing to the soul. That’s why we remain “Uplifting and Encouraging.”

As a local non-profit, we love Ohio and the cities, communities, churches and people in it. The River regularly financially partners with other ministries through our on-air fundraisers by choosing benefactors. Whenever the River is raising money, we are giving some of it away! We’ve supported diaper drives, military care packages, efforts against homelessness, bringing joy to those in nursing homes — anything that reflects the heart of Jesus. Here are a few organizations we regularly support!

• Faith Mission – we air a yearly fundraiser for Faith Mission, supporting those who are struggling with hunger and homelessness.
• Salvation Army — Every year we gift a Christmas dinner and game to local families through the Salvation Army.
• The River Healing Club – Our global partnership! The River has a year-round partnership with CURE, bringing the gospel and life-changing surgery to those in need in 3rd world countries. Join The River Healing Club!
