These are some powerful words from NEEDTOBREATHE’s new song, “Testify.” Off of their latest album, H A R D L O V E, they sing about the beautiful freedom that comes when we let Jesus’ grace into our lives.
That kind of freedom saved them from a very dark season as a a band a few years ago, and it’s helped them write this album as a story of God’s redemption.
NEEDTOBREATHE’s members originate from South Carolina, including brothers Bear and Bo Rinehart, Seth Bolt, and Josh Lovelace. Since 2006, they’ve released 6 albums, with incredible songs like “Washed by the Water,” “Something Beautiful,” and “Brother.” They weave honest and poetic lyrics throughout their southern rock songs, and they sing about how powerful and personal God is.
