The mission of River Radio Ministries is to Show People who Jesus Really Is.

In 2023 The River decided to launch The Vision Fund with a purpose to Show MORE people who Jesus Really is.

The Goal of The Vision Fund is in 3 Parts:

1. Geographic Expansion – We want to reach more of Ohio with Christian Radio
   • Since launching this Vision in 2023, The River has expanded from 4 stations in Central Ohio to 15 stations all over Ohio.
2. Format Expansion – We want to reach new and diverse audiences
   • Since launching this Vision, The River has added Glory 102.9 (listen online here) in Wooster, Ohio, providing a new Local Sports and Southern Gospel ministry in that community.
   • In January of 2026, we also launched 6 Boost stations in Ohio, bringing Christian Hip Hop to Ashland 91.1, Canton 90.1, Columbus 104.9 HD2, Findlay 88.7, Tiffin 88.9, and Wooster 104.5 HD2.
   • We have also launched Local Sports Ohio broadcasting High School Sports in Wayne County and the surrounding areas with hope of expansion in the future.
3. Deeper Community Involvement – We want to stay a part of each community we serve
   • Since launching this Vision, we have invested in staff to do local events, adding nearly 30 Vacation Bible Schools to our Tour in NorthEast Ohio in 2024, continuing to serve personally with our chaplain ministry, and already hosted events in Newark, Findlay, Ashland, Wooster, Canton, Bellefontaine and more.

The Vision Fund exists to help The River continue to reach new and diverse audiences and help fund the critical infrastructure to market and support these initiatives.
