Ice cream is the perfect treat on a hot summer day. Check out this super easy and tasty recipe that you and the kiddos can make together this summer!
Mason Jar Ice Cream
What you’ll need:
1 cup heavy cream
1 ½ tbsp. sugar
½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt
Directions
- Grab your mason jar and pour the cream, sugar, vanilla, and salt into it and then tightly secure the lid.
- Shake the mason jar for about 4-5 minutes. The cream should thicken and double in size. Dip a wooden spoon in the jar, and if it easily coats the back of it you’re good to go.
- Place the mason jar in the freezer for 3 hours or until it’s hard. Scoop out the ice cream, add your favorite toppings, serve – and enjoy!
