For about 2 weeks I have turned to The River to try to see things versus trying to figure it out myself. I have been in a relationship for over three years with a gentleman who is an addict and was before I got with him. I knew this. I have always been the person to try to heal and fix people and now I'm looking to God to fix me and help me guide other people to fix themselves, because I can't do it alone. It has taken me 40 plus years to figure this out. I am a mom of five children. All adults or nearly adults and I welcomed my first granddaughter less than 9 months ago. I need to focus on being there for her better than I was there for my own kids. I'm looking for prayers to get me through these tough times of knowing whether the gentleman I'm with is the right guy for me. I feel in my heart he is, but I can't heal him; he must heal himself and look to God to heal him. Just pray for me that I can get through these hard times.
