Prayer is powerful. No matter what you are going through in life, know that you’re not alone. At The River, we want to walk beside you in your life circumstances. The Prayer Page is a powerful tool to share struggles, trials, or burdens and know that others are praying for you. If you have a prayer answered, please post again as a praise so we can give God all the glory.

I prayed for this

Prayed for 7 times.

Kathleen

I wanted to edit my last prayer request + info regarding Mary.

She has depression, in part from not eating right and possibly also from being alone a lot and not having company or things that she likes to do to help her cope with her time alone. She used to do puzzles, but being alone all the time gets really old when you’ve dine all the puzzles and watched all the shows.

Please pray in addition to restored appetite and desire to drink tea, water etc., that God will help her family to see her more, and that He will help her find an interest in things or hobbies, so she won’t be depressed or bored to the point of not wanting to live

She found interest when her family was gathered around her… to the point that she said she didn’t want to miss out on anything (conversation, etc.) even when she could not keep her eyes open because she was so tired. I believe the depression she has experienced from being alone has also caused her to lose interest in food, though poor nutrition as a side effect of everything she has been going through may have contributed.

Thanks again so much to anyone who is praying for Mary.
