We’ve started to see just how big the reach of human trafficking is around the world, especially here in the United States. There are a lot of myths and misconceptions swirling around about what trafficking looks like, which is why we’ve been talking to experts and leaders in these areas, as well as with trafficking survivors, to try to figure out why this is happening, and what we can do to put an end to it.
For this episode, we wanted to explore a little bit more about how a lot of these children and young women end up in a life of trafficking and prostitution. What led them there, why do they stay there, and who all is at risk?
