JP’s Thoughts

It was nice to see Harbaugh back on the sidelines for week 2…

Spending his morning at his son’s football game as a member of the chain gang.

Probably still trying to make a case that JT was short. (He wasn’t)

Joking aside, it didn’t matter if he was there or not. Michigan steamrolled to another victory.

And they would have regardless of who was on the sideline.

If McCarthy was behind center, you were good to go.

Dude is playing at an ELITE level.

And I mean ELITE.

Deadly accurate, insanely efficient, downright scary.

Don’t expect him or the maize & blue to slow down anytime soon.

Bowling Green comes to Ann Arbor for a clash under the lights, and I fully expect this Wolverines team to play lights out in front of their home crowd.

Jace’s Thoughts

Michigan might be the most complete team in the country.

The offense is operating at an entirely new level.
McCarthy is living up to every bit of off-season hype.
Corum hasn’t lost a step, rattling off three TDs against UNLV.
Roman Wilson has more TDs (5) in two games than he had all last year (4).

The defense has looks downright feisty.
The secondary has given up nothing.
The pass rush got home five times on Saturday.
And – despite being down starters and playing a ton of backups – is surrendering just 5 PPG.

Yes, the competition is . . . lacking.

But while Tennessee is messing around with Austin Peay and Utah is screwing around with Baylor, Michigan is putting the clamps on teams early.

Last year saw Michigan as a boa constrictor.
Slowly, but surely, squeezing the life out of the opposition.

This year, they’re an anaconda with a rocket launcher.
Sure, they could still slowly take your will to live.
Or they might just blow you into a million tiny pieces right from the jump.

You never know what you’re gonna get.

It’s more fun that way.
